While watching the film, I noticed that, as spectators, we are always drawn into the film’s stories and images.
Our bodies remain in a real space, yet our thoughts enter fiction.
I find these shots of someone watching something intriguing.
It becomes even more interesting when they appear inside the film itself:
the characters are watching videos too—just like us, the spectators.
From there, I started collecting these images of characters watching images in order to ask questions: What are they looking at in the film?
And we—spectators of the spectator—what are we watching, and what feelings can it produce in us?
