Crime Scene
Performance, Installation, 2024
Coming into an unfamiliar environment always frightens me, which brings to mind the warnings in fairy tales：
especially the story of Little Red Riding Hood.
That is why I created a crime scene in the forest, as a farewell to the fictional character I invented, small Jieyi.
I used rough, crude sewing techniques to build a scene resembling a cult board game:
a fabric safety line, ceramic evidence markers, and ketchup stains simulating blood.
This is an installation accompanied by an on-site performance.
After two nurses carry away the body of Little Jieyi, Detective
Yixin Zhang arrives to investigate the crime scene.
